A&D Gallery opened its doors over 18 years ago and in that time we have amassed an interesting collection of art, mostly Pop.
For this exhibition we asked various British artists, we have come to know over the years, to submit works to hang alongside gallery owned pieces. Some of the artists we asked have never shown in an art gallery before recalling our first few years in the early ‘noughties’ as a gallery that championed new and unfashionable artists.
The result is a mixture of paintings, prints and photographs from a broad range of artists with a broad range of styles and eras all of which complement each other whilst celebrating their differences. Thus proving that not only does art not have to match your sofa but the art genres don’t have to match either.
