The smallest free arts festival in London you've never heard of returns to Bloomsbury this July.
Bedford Square Festival is a collaboration between five cultural institutions that reside on Bloomsbury's historic Bedford Square: Paul Mellon Centre, The Architectural Association, Sotheby's Institute of Art, New College of the Humanities and Bloomsbury Publishing.
The free festival features an array of 40 events for all ages with art classes, talks and panels, film screenings, concerts, walking tours and a free picnic in the square on Saturday, July 6th. Plus, selected festival events mean access to Bedford Square's private gardens.
This year the festival also welcomes Shakespeare in the Squares for an open-air performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream as part of their 2019 tour.
