Mystical and Magical Art Workshop - Build a Dragon

Mystical & Magical Art workshops at Romford Shopping Hall by Barkingside Art Club.

Join us in making a dragon head for the Lord Mayor's Dragon Boat project and create your own dragon and unicorn from cardboard to take home!

This creative workshop is designed to unleash everyone’s inner artist and free-flowing creativity. Eliyah Qureshi and her team will guide you through a 1hour 30-minutes Dragon and unicorn themed inspired art session where you can complete an artwork, cardboard costumes and create a dragon head with family and friends. Each day we will complete and build a small part of the dragon head and also follow a theme inspired by famous artists such as Van Gogh, Matisse & famous artwork like Great Wave of Kanagaw

The workshops will conclude with the completion of a creative dragon head and panels painted and created by the children and their families! Collectively you will Build, Paint and decorate a 1-meter long dragon head which will fit together to be part of the Dragon Boat project which will be on display at Dragon Fest at Fairlop Waters for all to admire.

The two activities in each 1.5 hour session will include…..

• Paint boat panels inspired by famous artwork by Picasso and Van Gogh.

• Make a cardboard dragon and unicorn costume to roar and glow
