We all experience anxiety to a greater or lesser extent at some point in our lives. For some anxiety is ongoing, for others it is a feeling that passes. Anxiety can be disabling, controlling many aspects of a person’s life, or it can be a motivational force.

Through a free exhibition and events programme, the ON EDGE season aims to open conversation around the causes of and responses to anxiety today through art, design, psychology and neuroscience research from King's College London. It will explore the connections between an individual’s experience of anxiety and how society frames those experiences.

The exhibition features artworks, scientific research and collaborative projects that examine anxiety from different perspectives and lived experience. It explores tools for living with anxiety and includes quiet areas, a space for collective reflection and discussion, as well as opportunities to take action in different ways such as signing up to the GLAD study – the world’s largest study of anxiety and depression.

A series of free events will accompany the ON EDGE exhibition including a Friday Late, performances, workshops and more.
