E15 Jazz Sessions showcase live contemporary jazz from a mix of established international musicians and bright new talent in Stratford's regular jazz night.

Mikele Montolli's music is based on Afro-American tradition fused with years of classical training and experimental form-free music. Studying violin from the age of seven, and later switching to electric base, gave him an extensive musical vocabulary.

Since joining the London Jazz scene in 2010, Mikele has toured various Jazz and World music festivals all over Europe, America, Asia and the Balkan Peninsula. He has performed and recorded with The Sun Ra Arkestra, Knoel Scott Quartet, Julie Dexter, Heidi Vogel, Don Menza, Charlie Stacey, Sorin Zlat and Federico De Vittor.
