Rum Tasting at Rhythm Kitchen E17: St Lucia Distillers

Owned and operated by Delroy ‘the Jerkfather’ Dixon, the family-run restaurant and bar serves freshly prepared traditional food - making all of their marinades by hand to create authentic Caribbean cuisine in the heart of London. It is also home to the largest selection of rum in East London.

The tasting event will be co-hosted by rum expert Gavin McGowan Madoo, showcasing two important rum brands from St Lucia Distillers - Chairman’s Reserve and Bounty. Tickets will include a specially-created rum cocktail on arrival and four tasty rums alongside a selection of home-cooked Caribbean bites.

Since it launched in April, Rum Club has built up a loyal following of craft spirits enthusiasts drawn from the local area and beyond – as far as South Korea! Previous events have included tastings of Appleton Estate, Pusser’s Plantation and FAIR rums, and the series continues through the autumn and winter with visits from Diplomatico and Skylark Spirits.
