Modern day investigations are aided by technology which is constantly improving and is crucial to keeping up with the tactics used by modern day criminals. Today, everything we do leaves a digital footprint. There are an estimated 25 million CCTV cameras in the world with Britain holding the highest proportion of 4 million alone.

Charlotte Thornber, Director and Founder of private investigation firm, Taylor Investigations, will look into historic crimes such as The Great Train Robbery and consider the techniques used to bring the criminals to justice and how modern resources could have resulted in a faster result.

There may even be a chance to see some investigation and surveillance equipment!
