Permitted Fruit (Evening Standard’s Top Comedy Shows to See in London / Top 10 LGBT Nights in London) presents a one-off bananas mash-up with Earth's most prestigious comedy anti-competition, The Glang Show (“Defies any sort of description, but if you picture Vic Reeves Big Night Out in a bouncy castle, on acid, you’ll be close” - Guardian).

But what is a Glang? And how does it show?

Forged in the heart of the Northern Alternative Comedy Scene, brainchild of surreal stand-up Seán Morley (“Ambitious and creative absurdist … prepare to laugh very hard indeed” - The List) The Glang Show is the only anarcho-comedy experiment to have travelled back in time from beyond the heat death of the universe. A line-up of incredibly powerful comedians compete for your affection whilst traversing a landscape of interactive challenges and challenging interactions. The Glang Show is absolutely nothing at all. There can only be one winner.

Seán is joined by Permitted Fruit's own Siân Docksey (“Joy and bewilderment in equal measure” - The Skinny) in a fruit cocktail of stand-up, character comedy and audience participation exploring the limits of empowerment and enthusiastic consent. Featuring guest acts Sam Nicoresti, Ava Liversidge, Bodybuilder Brian, The Spider, an Experimental Comedy Pole Dancer, music from Diasporadoes: The Queer Armenian Art Collective - and more to be announced!

Please note that this is a standing, mobile, interactive show, however the venue is fully wheelchair-accessible, and we will be reserving a number of full view/ access seats for those with accessibility needs of any kind. We also have a number of discount tickets reserved for those on low or no-income. Contact [email protected] to arrange.
