Join acclaimed military photographers Rupert Frere and Graeme Main MBE as they talk about capturing the experiences of the British forces in Afghanistan.

Army photographers document the military actions that have shaped our times. Often working under difficult conditions, they capture moments in history, and very often the very deepest of human emotions, with vivid honesty and clarity.

In this talk, British Army photographers Graeme Main MBE and Rupert Frere will focus on their time working in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

Through a fascinating selection of videos and photographs, they will outline the differences between their photographic styles, describe their job roles, and demonstrate what equipment is required to work in a war zone.
