Join writer, actor and director Tama Matheson, violinist Davina Clake and more in the Elgar Room as part of Love Classical, for a musico-dramatic voyage through the life of one of the world’s greatest composers: Johann Sebastian Bach.

Part play and part recital, JS – The Life and Passion of Bach is a moving, always fascinating and often hilarious depiction of Bach’s life and work. The play traces, amid a setting of his music, the longings, desires, and inspirations that drove Bach to his beautiful creations.

JS presents the tale of one of the world’s greatest composers, struggling, like all of us, to harmonise the dissonances of real life.
