St Patricks Ceilidh Folk Of The Wood

Top craic guaranteed at London's liveliest St Patrick's night! A joyful evening of ceilidh dancing, live music and special guest Irish dance troupe. Folk Of The Wood is hosted by acclaimed folk band Ceilidh Tree ("London's finest ceilidh band" - Evening Standard) who'll be providing three sets of dancing with stomping fiddles, accordion and expert caller to show the moves! Expect Irish classics like Siege Of Ennis and Bridge Of Athlone alongside other ceilidh gems! We're also welcoming the amazing dancers from the Mulvihill Academy Of Irish Dance whose awe-inspiring formations are sure to delight! There'll be Guinness, local ales and scrumpy at the bar plus Irish Stew by Beamish & McGlue to keep you reeling! Our last event sold out in advance - early booking strongly advised. The gig takes place at the Portico Gallery - a former music hall where Charlie Chaplin once performed and a superb space for dancing.
