From Joseph Paxton’s Crystal Palace to Sir Horace Jones’ Tower Bridge, some of our best loved buildings were built during the reign of Queen Victoria. Many have stood the test of time and are some of the most iconic structures in Britain today, and those that are gone can still leave a lasting legacy.

Visitors to the Ragged School Museum this February Half Term can find out just what it took to Build Victorian Britain and who the great people behind it were.

We will have free arts and crafts activities on offer throughout the museum, and all of our usual Half-term fun! Plus our Victorian Classroom and Victorian Kitchen will be open for you to explore along with the rest of our 19th century poor school. And of course, the Towpath Café will be open for those parched grown-ups!
