Join singer-songwriter Avi Simmons and visual artist Peter Morton for A Heart at Sea, a special intimate family show of beautiful puppetry, storytelling and original music, in the Elgar Room.
This gig-theatre production uses haunting live music to tell the story of a young boy who bottles up his heart and throws it into the sea. Expect to hear original songs composed by Avi, set to breathtaking visuals centered around a carved wooden chest that holds the secrets to the story.
This is a piece of stunning visual storytelling and theatre that will resonate with all ages. An epic musical folktale told on a miniature scale.
