Halo Burger to launch UK's first Vegan Katsu Burger

On 10th March, top plant-based burger restaurant Halo Burger is launching the UK’s first ever vegan katsu burger in collaboration with MasterChef winner Tim Anderson for one month only. Made with a panko crispy fried Beyond Burger patty, a panko crispy fried smoked Gouda cheese (yes deep-fried cheese slice!), umami mayo and Tonkatsu sauce, it’s set to fire up the tastebuds of both vegans and meat-eaters alike.

Bursting with timeless Japanese flavours combined with the iconic meaty Halo style, the Vegan Katsu Cheeseburger creates an authentic twist on tradition. The Katsu burger is inspired by Tim’s new book Vegan JapanEasy and his ‘halo moment’ when trying Halo burger at the POP Brixton branch.
