Get ready for Mama G’s Family Pride Party: a day long digital event that celebrates being who you are and loving who you want. On July 12th from 9am onwards the whole family will be able to join in with activities from yoga to arts and crafts, as well as watch the best singers, comedians, storytellers and drag performers we can find!
Confirmed participants so far include: 90s pop starlet LOLLY, poet and author DEAN ATTA, ELMER THE PATCHWORK ELEPHANT, JULIAN IS A MERMAID, Loose Women's ZOË TYLER, MUA KING SLAY, CBBC's 'Swashbuckle' JOSEPH ELLIOTT, author MARGARET STURTON, soul singer from 'The Voice' NATE JAMES, UV puppet show H2GLO and of course... MAMA G! The day long event is totally free to enjoy and will be raising money for MERMAIDS, a charity that works with gender-diverse young people, their families and the professionals that support them.
Hosted by everyone’s favourite pantomime dame: it’s going to be a free and fabulous day for everyone to share the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community and the wonderful rainbow families in it.
