How well do you think you know London? Do you know your Big Ben from your Little Venice? Your Manor House to your Mansion House? Postman’s Park to the Cutty Sark? The Sovereign’s Sceptre to Tottenham’s Skepta? On Sunday 6 September, households will be invited to test their knowledge of the city by competing in The Ultimate Londoner Quiz - a live streamed quiz, hosted by comedian and proud Londoner Dane Baptiste, to crown the ‘Ultimate Londoner’. Local residents, students, families, and fans of London from all over the world are invited to take part in a series of questions and challenges, delving into the depths and breadth of the city’s history and culture - from its kings and queens and weird museum objects to its late-night cabarets and kebab shops. The creative submissions will be judged by Justine Simons OBE, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Creative Industries. Winners can receive prizes such as an overnight stay and afternoon tea at 5* hotel The Ned, as well as an official certificate acknowledging them as ‘The Ultimate Londoner’. Sign-up is free, with the option to donate to the Mayor of London’s ‘Pay it Forward’ campaign, to help businesses raise vital funds and stay afloat, rebuild, and recover from the impact of COVID-19.

The Ultimate Londoner Quiz forms part of the City of London Corporation’s ‘Our City Together’ collaborative initiative and runs in partnership with London & Partners, Londonist, and the Mayor of London’s office to celebrate the capital’s culture and show that London Is Open.
