The Climate Crisis Film Festival is back for its second edition, showcasing a stunning and diverse collection of eye-opening cinema exploring the climate crisis from every angle.
The programme goes beyond the dry data showers, wildlife conservation and single-issue documentaries you’ve already seen before. Expect powerful films that zoom in on personal stories from people living on the frontlines of climate breakdown and zoom out to analyse the systemic issues that are causing the climate crisis. The 2020 programme brings together breathtaking cinema, exciting imaginings of a climate positive future, and inspirational masterclasses on how we can take direct action to fight for the future we need.
This year, the special events programme is expanded, gathering some of the most prominent names in the climate sphere for a series of discussions and workshops. Hear what’s happening at the cutting edge of envisioning a better future with leaders from Green New Deal UK, Stop Ecocide, Climate Reality Europe, MockCOP, Transitions Network, We Don’t Have Time, Young Wilders, Stop Climate Chaos, Advaya and many other organisations that strive for real impact, from the grassroots up. Tune in for talks on Climate Anxiety vs Positive Resilience and System Change, Not Climate Change, join our Drawing Your Future workshop or learn how to Grow Your Urban Food Garden and build up your Activism Toolkit with our Masterclass series.
