In this online talk hosted by The National Archives, Dan Stone, Professor of Modern History and Director of the Holocaust Research Institute at RHUL, discusses what the British found at Belsen in the immediate post-liberation period. He will also explore the aftermath of the liberation, from medical care to identifying the dead and tracing survivors.
This talk will be presented on Microsoft teams and will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by a 15 minute Q&A. Participants will be emailed an access link 24 hours in advance.
