Stile Antico returns to Live From London with a mouthwatering selection of Renaissance music marking the Lenten season. The group performs masterpieces by Byrd, Tallis and Sheppard alongside highly expressive motets by Lassus, Victoria and de Monte, interspersed with the timeless sound of plainchant. Crowning this glorious programme are the famed Allegri ‘Miserere’ and Robert White's heartbreaking five-part setting of the Lamentations of Jeremiah: truly one of the wonders of the Renaissance.
