Celebrate International Women's Day virtually with Elle Synergy

As we approach the 8th March 2021, we intend to celebrate International Women’s Day in the same way that it has been embraced for the past century; celebrating women across the globe. We may not be able to host events in person this year, but virtually the female community has the opportunity to come together more than ever before. It is for this reason that a business created virtually in lockdown, by two women impacted by the global pandemic, wants to encourage female entrepreneurship by hosting a virtual live event on Clubhouse and invite women across the world to join them.

It is a painful reality that women again have been disproportionately excluded from receiving adequate support throughout the pandemic, with many women having greatly felt the impact of their over-representation in lower paid, temporary and casual employment in hard-hit sectors, such as retail and hospitality. It is therefore important that now, more than ever, women come together to share their experiences and help to inspire others.

In a year full of restrictions, the influence of social media on building relationships has never been so powerful. One such example of this is Elle Synergy, created in lockdown by two women on a mission to revolutionise the way in which skilled entrepreneurs build and scale their business. A virtual relationship which was established in 2020 brought together the two female entrepreneurs and allowed them to develop and support each other’s marketing concepts, even though neither had met in person. By October 2020 both realised that they could combine their strengths in order to create a stronger business together; establishing their own enterprise, Elle Synergy.

In the past four months since the business was launched, Elle Synergy has grown in to a multiple six-figure business all through the power of Instagram. The unique nature of this business and story behind its formation can provide inspiration for many young entrepreneurs, demonstrating the ability to create and succeed in a virtual landscape. Just because the business world has changed so much in recent months, this does not have to mean that connections cannot be made and business cannot be grown.

In order to celebrate their journey over the past year, as well as celebrating the power of women, Elle Synergy has decided to organise a Clubhouse room called “Female entrepreneurship with Elle Synergy” on Monday 8th March 2021 at 5pm GMT. In this room, Elle Synergy will discuss their own experiences, as well as inviting inspirational female entrepreneurs from all over the world to share stories of being a woman in business.
