Time-travel alongside the Greek Goddess Hera and meet some of the most inspiring women and discover how their actions have shaped the world as we know it. Celebrate their lives and legacies whilst prompting your children to think about how they might become remarkable people of the future themselves.

Led by Hera, the Greek Goddess of Women, this workshop will introduce children to extraordinary women from various spheres: adventurous and pioneering women, women in the arts, women in politics and women in science. Visiting different locations and time periods, the children will explore the lives of women such as:

Rosa Parks - an American activist in the civil rights movement, known for her role in the Montgomery bus boycott.
Frida Kahlo - a Mexican painter known for her self-portraits and artworks. Her art style explored questions of identity, gender, and race in Mexican society.
Amelia Earhart - aviation pioneer and author, the first female aviator to fly solo over the Atlantic Ocean.
Edith Cavell - a British nurse in WWI who is celebrated for saving the lives of soldiers from both sides without discrimination.

"Very engaging and relevant to the prominent figures we were looking at in school. Children were able to use knowledge learnt in the workshop in their classroom activities." - Wajiha Ahmed, Plaistow Primary School, London

All zoom details will be sent out to attendees before the day of the workshop
