A solo show of experimental and expressive abstract paintings by Sandra Beccarelli, together with new soundscapes by composer Daniel Birch.
Sandra Beccarelli is a London-based abstract painter whose works have been selected and hung at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, ING Discerning Eye and The Griffin Art Prize. Since gaining her Postgraduate Diploma in Painting from City and Guilds of London Art School in 2010, Sandra has worked rigorously, participating in numerous mixed and solo shows,
Daniel Birch is an electronic musician and sound artist. He has created a new collection of atmospheric soundscapes directly inspired by Sandra’s abstract paintings.
The show will also feature other collaborations.
Father Peter Burns, a Benedictine Monk of Ealing Abbey, has translated Sandra Beccarelli’s “Disrupted Musical Score”, by singing and recording it as a Gregorian chant.
Agnieszka Studzinska is a contemporary poet and teacher at the Poetry School in London who has created a new work which drew on the thoughts and creative processes she observed whilst Sandra was making her works.
