Michael Mansfield QC, honorary PhD in Law at the University of West London, and one of Britain’s leading defence lawyers will be speaking on the Stephen Lawrence affair.
This is a unique opportunity to hear from one of Britain’s most prominent lawyers, speaking candidly about a social turning point in modern British history, which led ultimately to a devastating finding in the Macpherson Report, published in 1999, that the Metropolitan Police were affected by institutional racism.
