SAMPLE is back on 22nd May, bringing together the ultimate curated mix of artisans from the worlds of food, fashion, homeware and beauty. Our community of creatives are much-loved across the Peninsula and we’re thrilled to be bringing them back together for SAMPLE this May, prior to the launch of Design District later this year.

Greenwich Peninsula has always been committed to supporting the creative industries and this past year has seen this need increase even further. SAMPLE is about providing a platform for emerging independents to showcase their individuality and attract design aware and sustainably focused shoppers. We launched our virtual marketplace in 2020, to create a viable way to help drive revenue for these traders whilst physical doors were closed but now we can’t wait to bring this cohort of brands and businesses back together on Greenwich Peninsula this May .

SAMPLE’s line-up includes everything from designer makers, fashion, food & drink and live music. Start your day with delicious small-batch coffee and delicious pastries, whilst you peruse the breadth of emerging talent across womenswear, menswear, jewellery, eyewear, childrenswear and accessories on offer.
For lunch, choose from our array of fresh produce including numerous street food stalls, alongside multiple artisan store cupboard essentials, cured meats, cheeses and not forgetting our vegan friends, we have plenty of plant-based options available too!
Spend the afternoon, soaking up the (hopeful) sunshine, or chilling in the shade listening to our own in-house DJ playing whilst you check out all of our designer makers including print & textile designers, urban gardening, stationary, pet accessories, beauty and skincare.
Easily accessible by River Bus to North Greenwich Pier, or the Jubilee line to North Greenwich, SAMPLE is the perfect way to celebrate our newfound freedom and support our small businesses, all showcased in a brilliantly-designed outside location.

SAMPLE is curated by Hemingway Design for Greenwich Peninsula. Wayne & Gerardine Hemingway started out their careers in the fashion industry by way of reselling fashion on an unassuming Camden market stall which ultimately led them to launch their infamous fashion brand, Red or Dead.
