We Are History is a free exhibition which explores the relationship between climate change and legacies of colonialism, offering a different perspective on today’s climate crisis. The show features a brilliant line-up of contemporary artists - including Alberta Whittle, Malala Andrialavidrazana, Otobong Nkanga, Allora & Calzadilla - who bring to the fore the perspective of communities from countries in the Caribbean, South America and Africa (who often feel the effects of climate change most severely) in addressing issues facing nature today and throughout history, from damming rivers, disposal of hazardous waste to mass consumption.
