Spectacular Fire and Ice themed event this Christmas at Twickenham for Harlequins’ annual Big Game

Double Champions Harlequins host the world’s biggest annual club rugby event on December 27 and the first EVER Women’s league match at Twickenham

Big Game is back and better than ever! Banish the post-Christmas blues by joining Harlequins’ rugby and family fun extravaganza at Twickenham stadium. The biggest annual club rugby event in the world is putting on an epic double-header and a performance by world renowned DJ Pete Tong!

Harlequins will take over Twickenham on Bank Holiday Monday December 27, hosting an unmissable day packed full of exciting rugby, spectacular Fire & Ice-themed entertainment activities and the legendary West Fan Village, which will be packed with food, live music and interactive experiences for kids.

Harlequins have long been a pioneer in women’s rugby and staying true to form, Big Game 13 will open with the first ever Allianz Premier 15s Women’s fixture at the Home of Rugby. Harlequins Women take centre stage from 2:15pm with their match against Wasps Women, which could deliver a World Record attendance!

Following the match, legendary DJ Pete Tong, MBE, will deliver a 25-minute live DJ set accompanied by an awesome light and pyrotechnic show, with dancers keeping the crowd entertained as they get ready for the hotly anticipated Men’s game.

The second match of the day sees the Men’s Champions take on Northampton Saints in a showcase of some of the biggest stars in world rugby – to a backdrop of ice, flames, music and entertainment. These two teams love to play fast and exciting rugby, so this should be a festive cracker.

Harlequins CEO Laurie Dalrymple said: “We can’t wait to see a packed 82,000 Twickenham stadium and we have put together the biggest and best Big Game event yet – not only two superb rugby matches but an entertainment programme that is bigger and higher profile than any other Big Game. It is wonderful to see this amazing community event back on the calendar – we know how much our community enjoy coming together to celebrate with friends and family each Christmas”

Tickets are available on Harlequins’ official website and range from £20 Junior tickets, £32.50 for Adults, and £70 for Premium seating.
