Gosnells of London opens Christmas pop-up in Peckham

GOSNELLS, London’s only mead-maker, has taken over a voluminous railway arch in Peckham for a colourful Xmas Pop-Up, brimming with Christmas trees, fairy lights and a rollercoaster of Gosnells’ meads.

Gosnells summer mead-garden-bar will be re-purposed and will serve its new 4% sparkling Wildflower Mead on draught, along with its four cans of Hopped, Sour, Hibiscus and Citra Sea meads at the same strength. In addition, there will be Gosnells 5.5% Original, its small batch experiments, and its Vintages 2019, 2020 and 2021 – all three made from London honeys.

Gosnells Garden of Meaden will be full of Christmas trees for sale, and there will be a retail site for guests to take away meads of their choice or newly launched mead products like its Gosnells Mead vinegar.

Square Root of Hackney will supply soft drinks; Freedom Brewery - a pioneer of British lager, which was founded in London - will supply their lagers; and there will be a razzamatazz of snacks.

Gosnells colourful benches, a feature of its summer mead garden, will return and the aromas of pine trees will fill the air, with twinkling lights and music and mellifluous buzzing to warm up the winter nights.
