Leading London hotel The Connaught, have teamed up with DEWAR’s whisky to create exclusive limited-edition festive cocktail this Christmas. Celebrating the festive flavours of ginger and spice, the new cocktail from the award winning hotel’s Coburg Bar will be a unique take on the 'Penicillin’, featuring DEWAR’s Ilegal Smooth, aged in mezcal casks, ginger juice and honey syrup.

Available now, the delectable DEWAR’s cocktail, featuring the smoky notes of DEWAR’S Ilegal Smooth will be available to tickle taste buds until the end of December at RRP £20.

An exciting twist on the classic Penicillin cocktail, the Christmas serve explores the unique tasting notes of DEWAR’s Ilegal Smooth with its hints of caramel, fig and herbal flavours with notes of smoked green pepper.
Bringing together the best of two worlds and drawing inspiration from the exotic flavours of Mexico, the Penicillin from Coburg bar at The Connaught Hotel includes ginger, honey syrup, and fresh lemon juice, bringing out the subtle smokiness created from finishing the whisky in mezcal casks.
