Château Rouge Photography Exhibition

Château Rouge is a celebration of ''African'' culture in Paris. Nestled between Montmartre and the Goutte d'Or, this district has been home for several decades to the largest African market in the capital. The series is an ode to the dishes found in Château Rouge, and a way to remember the essence of a neighbourhood that is now threatened by gentrification. This project by Sandrine Laure Dippa was shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Awards 2020 and displayed in Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition displays five massive images of that work and still life.
