One of the most exciting and unique emerging talents from the U.K. Vintage Swing Dance scene, Lana-May is an utterly captivating bandleader and multi-instrumentalist.

Giving a nod to artists such as Sidney Bechet, Johnny Dodds, Edmond Hall, Louis Armstrong, and Albert Nicholas, prepare to be transported back in time to the gin bars of 1930s New Orleans and Montmartre, as Lana-May and her band perform an eclectic mix of traditional hot jazz, romantic melodies and filthy blues.

With Lana-May’s full-bodied sound and expressive playing beyond her years, her sometimes scandalous but always unpredictable personal commentary, coupled with a dazzling vintage aesthetic, she creates an immersive, authentic cabaret-jazz experience not to be missed!

For her debut solo performance at Crazy Coqs, Lana-May will be backed by her incredibly talented band and group of close friends, Christian Smith on Piano, Laura Day on Drums, Andy Morris on Double Bass, as well as her partner in crime (and life) Mortimer Hodge on Guitar and Banjo.
