Patti Smith headlines a new boutique festival on the slopes of Alexandra Palace.

Higher Ground is a one-day festival with an artistic scope including singer-songwriters, genre defying acts and contemporary sounds.

In addition to powerful live sets from leading international names, the event will feature DJ sets, workshops, talks and readings, food trucks, bars, and activity areas.

PATTI SMITH
Nothing short of legendary, Patti Smith ranks amongst the most ambitious, unconventional, and challenging rock and rollers of all time. Emerging in the 70’s, Patti’s music has firmly held on to its timelessness as she continues to tour and enchant audiences worldwide.

NADINE SHAH
Nadine Shah’s critically acclaimed, and Mercury-nominated, album ‘Holiday Destination’ saw her at her most political yet, now in her 30s Shah continues to speak out for causes she believes strongly in in her brooding and jazz-kissed indie rock.

SPELLLING
SPELLLING’s familiar bewitching vocal style emphasizes the theatrical and folkloric themes of her song writing. Her 2021 album Turning Wheel is nothing short of evolution for the artist, branching out from her primarily synth-based sound on a magical, grand and genre-less adventure.

CONNIE CONSTANCE
A refreshingly frank storyteller with an up-to-date indie-rock sound, Connie Constance makes music that accurately reflects herself, and defies simple classification.

NABIHAH IQBAL
Praised highly for her debut release, NTS presenter Nabihah fuses electronic soundscapes with reverb drenched vocals to create a unique and spellbinding take on indie music.

JOVIALE
North London based multidisciplinary artist Joviale makes otherworldly, immersive music that plays with equal parts restraint and rage. High vocals and heady, emotional chord progressions weave a screen around the audience, drawing them in with every note.

World-class DJs will keep the party flowing, as well as indoor workshops, to be announced next month, all accompanied by fully stocked bars and delicious food trucks.
