Marylebone Summer Festival returns on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June, with a line-up of live music, food and gift stalls, family activities, shopping and alfresco dining in the heart of central London.

On Saturday 18 June, Paddington Street Gardens will host a spectacular open-air cinema where visitors can enjoy the screening under the stars from the comfort of a deckchair. This year’s film is the Oscar and multi award winning Bohemian Rhapsody.

Hailed as one of the greatest rock songs of all time and topping charts as a best-selling single for over forty years, Bohemian Rhapsody is the true story of Queen and Freddie Mercury – a man who believed in himself and his music when no one else did, defying all stereotypes and breaking all the rules to become one of the greatest musical icons of all time. A foot-stomping celebration of Queen’s music and tribute to a man who dared to change everything, the film stars Rami Malek as iconic front man Freddie Mercury, alongside Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor, Gwilym Lee as Brian May and Joe Mazzello as John Deacon.

In the tranquil surroundings of the open gardens, there will be pre-film activities to enjoy including free table tennis, as well as a cocktail bar and live music. Tickets for the film can be booked on Design My Night and go on sale on Tuesday 3 May from 12pm, prices start from £15. All profits will go to the London-based Greenhouse Sports charity who use sport to engage young people and improve their lives.

The Marylebone Hotel will host the pop-up bar, serving cocktail classics including an exclusive ‘Mercury Negroni’ cocktail in partnership with Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto. The aromatic cocktail will consist of Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto Liqueur, Tanqueray gin and Suze Liqueur.
