Enjoy a free workshop with illustrator Lizzie King plus free ice cream and treats

Find joy at The Yards, Covent Garden, this spring and follow a trail of vibrant artworks designed exclusively by London illustrator Lizzie King to help shoppers discover a series of free surprise and delight moments, including complimentary ice cream, creative workshops, exclusive discounts and more.

Visitors will be able to explore joyful moments in the form of treats, offers and workshops throughout May, including:
- Complimentary cups of delicious Buontalenti Italian gelato from ice cream connoisseurs Badiani to the first 50 people that quote ‘Here's to joy at The Yards’, every Thursday throughout May
- Free ceramic vase decorating workshop, hosted by Lizzie King at the London Graphic Centre, 26th May, 3:30pm (ticket required)
- Free glass of bubbles and a treatment with any hair cut at Patrizia Manias, throughout May
- Free taster of either a Tea Leaf salad or Ginger salad at Burmese restaurant Lahpet for bookings of up to 6 people, each Thursday throughout May until 6pm

Visitors to The Yards can also find vibrant new artwork by East London-based artist Lizzie King. Influenced by the cartoons she watched as a child, Lizzie’s hand drawn work is widely recognised for its bright and playful characteristics. Each illustration will feature a QR code that can be scanned to discover even more joyful moments including competitions to win treats and exclusive experiences at The Yards.

New floral installations and living walls have also been added for a greener space to enjoy the perfect al fresco experience. The large outdoor terraces are perfect for soaking up the sun while enjoying the many delicious food and drink options available - new restaurants to try include Italian eatery miscusi, Burmese restaurant Lahpet and bakery Buns from Home.
