Platinum Jubilee Garden Party at Merchant Square

There’s a canal-side garden party taking place in West London on Wednesday 25th May to mark the celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. It’s completely free to get in and the first 100 people to arrive will qualify for a serving of free Pimms.

Just a five minute walk from Paddington tube is Merchant Square, where you can enjoy relaxing on a deckchair or bean bag while soaking in the views of the Grand Union canal.

There’ll be live entertainment from The Bombshells, a 1940s inspired singing trio providing full vocals. Their bubbly stage presence and mix of old time classics and present day hits is a proven formula to get crowds up and dancing.

Street food trucks will offer a variety of authentic cuisines to eat al fresco on the Floating Pocket Park. And for those with a sweet tooth a huge variety of chocolate goodies will be served up by Hotel Chocolat’s very own Chocmobile.

English tipples will flow throughout the evening including Pimms, G&T, and Nyetimber sparkling wine. Plus giant garden games to challenge your friends - oversized versions of Jenga, Connect Four and Chess to name a few.

There’ll be competitions on the day with prizes to win including meal vouchers, a GoBoat trip and lots more.
