Brushstrokes to Brands

A new display, featuring artwork from ‘en plein air’ and studio painter Steven Smith. The temporary exhibit depicts heritage brands, found in the Museum’s collection, through still-life oil paintings.
There will be a meet-the-artist and interactive draw-along event on 9 August. Replicating one of his favourite paintings, Steven will teach the basics of creating a still life on canvas paper. The participant will be able to keep their still life drawing for a keepsake.
