Christmas Alpine Bar and Restaurant Pop Up

Tipis on the Green is a pop up Alpine bar and restaurant in the bustling community hub of Parsons Green, launching on Friday 17th November. This Christmas, Tipis on the Green promises exceptional food, fun and festivities in the heart of South West London; all with no entry fee. Book now for a memorable Christmas experience.

Tipis on the Green delivers a merry Christmas spirit inspired by cosy alpine ski chalets. Step inside for pure nostalgia complete with glittering fairy lights, vintage Christmas decorations, retro ski memorabilia, traditional wood panelling and biofuel fire pit tables to gather around with friends. Indulge in comforting apres ski dishes such as tartiflette, wild mushroom arancini, French diot sausages cooked in white wine and more. Warm up at the bar with a Christmas Negroni or Baileys hot chocolate. Mini portions of mac n cheese keep the kids happy.

Expect a roster of events including Festive Wreath Making, a Bottomless Margarita brunch, a Sustainable Christmas panel discussion and much more all to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tipis on the Green is London’s first sustainable Christmas pop up. The pop up is presented by Raw Tipis who are committed to reducing environmental impact and have carefully considered every service and product. Electric generators are used across the venue, omitting zero emissions. Compost toilets significantly reduce water consumption. Many of the decorations and furniture are pre-loved and upcycled in Raw Tipis workshop. Food waste and all biodegradable containers and utensils are turned into compost.

Tipis on the Green brings one of the city’s natural spaces to life through responsible events for the community and beyond. Raw Tipis sustainability values are reflected throughout with the added mission of bringing the local community together at Christmas. The pop up is raising funds for local community charity Hammersmith & Fulham Giving.

Each morning local businesses, community groups, charities and non profits deliver a programme of free events to unite the community and inspire conscious choices at Christmas time. These activities reflect Tipis on the Green sustainability ethos with immersive activities such as community socials, climate meetups, art classes, clothes swaps, repair workshops, wellbeing classes and more.

Food and drinks brands across the venue reflect Tipis on the Green sustainable ethos and many of them are certified B Corps. Local business Prime Time lager uses one of the most energy efficient and innovative brewers in the UK. Pimantae tequila based cocktails work with a family-run tequila producer and donate profits to an organisation working with rural communities in Mexico.
