David Messum Fine Art is delighted to present an exhibition of new paintings from the celebrated Catalan painter, Magí Puig (b.1966), to be held at 12 Bury Street, St. James’s from 1st - 24th November 2023.
Held in conjunction with Sala Parés gallery, Barcelona, the exhibition presents thirty new works by Puig in his third exhibition with David Messum Fine Art.
In this major exhibition of the artist’s work, we dive into Magí’s painting technique. In his constant world travels in search of new experiences, particularly through Southern Spain and North Africa, he continues to fill his portfolio with images and ideas of how best to convey these places and their peoples into vivid colour, from which we too can experience both the drama of life there as well as the magical contrasting light.
