London's only professional women's golf tournament for 2024, the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF – London will challenge the capital's golf fans to showcase their skills ahead of the tournament taking place at Centurion Club, 3-5 July. The ‘CHIP TO WIN’ challenge will take place at Potters Fields Park, Tooley St, London SE1 2UD (a short walk from London Bridge stations) on Wednesday 26th June from 11am until 9pm. The activation will test the participants' chipping accuracy using a customised version of an iconic London double-decker bus, as each player will attempt to hit targets on the bus to try and score the best score possible. Players of all abilities are encouraged to have a go, even someone who has never picked up a club will be able to take part and post their score. Prizes will be on offer for the best players across the day as well as for people stepping up taking part. Content creators and top golfers Georgia Ball (@georgiagolfcoach) and Ellie Skoog (@puttingwithellie) will be on hand at the activation to show the public how it’s done and give some tips from the pros. Speaking ahead of the challenge, Georgia said “It’s great that we’re bringing the sport we love into the heart of London for the day and celebrating the women’s game. Quite simply we want everyone to swing a club and have some fun. I am looking forward to having a go myself and seeing what score I can achieve before heading to Centurion Club next week to see how its done by the best players in the world.” For more information on the Aramco Team Series please visit www.aramcoteamseries.com or purchase tickets for the London edition, here. The investment by Aramco as the headline sponsor makes them one of the biggest backers of the women’s game in Europe. The five Aramco Team Series events are a significant step forward for women’s sports and follow the hugely successful Aramco Saudi Ladies International presented by PIF and Saudi Ladies Team International. The Aramco Team Series is the first team event series of its kind on any professional tour. Taking place across three continents, the tournaments will see the world’s best players team up with amateur golfers to compete for $1 million in prize funds. Using a unique draft system, team captains will pick one pro teammate, before being allocated a third via a random draw. Completing each team will be one amateur golfer. As well as competing for the team trophy, the professionals will also vie for an individual title, offering Rolex Rankings and Solheim Cup ranking points, and will be part of the Race to Costa del Sol Official Rankings. This is the only event in world golf where an amateur contributes to the final result in the main team competition. Prize money for the winning team is split between its three professional members.
