Open Garden Squares Weekend, London’s most popular garden-visiting weekend, offers exclusive access to some of the most exciting, private and unique gardens and green spaces in the capital, as well as the opportunity to take part in a whole range of exclusive events and activities.

The Weekend showcases London’s vast diversity of green spaces - that are rarely open to the public - from the historic and traditional to the new and experimental. Members of the public can explore and discover gardens on rooftops, in offices and shops as well as community gardens, allotments and London’s premier garden squares. This year, there are gardens with breathtaking panoramas, sleek contemporary-designed spaces, as well
as wild and naturalistic hidden gems - only accessible on this weekend in June with a ticket.

Organised by the London Parks and Gardens Trust, the annual event highlights the significant social, cultural, environmental and economic contribution that gardens, squares and green spaces make to the capital and its inhabitants. The Trust aims to cultivate knowledge and appreciation of all these designed landscapes and celebrate their beauty, ecology and value.

Over 100 carefully selected gardens will participate, including traditional garden squares like Leinster Square, Manchester Square, and Eaton Square. Contemporary spaces include Victoria Hall at the Institute of Ismaili Studies and the Islamic gardens at the Aga Khan Centre. Flourishing community gardens can be found at Alara Permaculture Garden, the Community Garden at Tate Modern and Providence Row. And, to take in London’s amazing skyline a visit to Cannon Bridge House Roof Gardens, Nomura International Plc, or Eversheds Sutherland should not be missed.
