On Saturday 16th June, the Queen’s official birthday and mid-way between the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics, Alfies Antique Market will host a special event celebrating London’s rich history and diversity through the world of antiques.

Customers are invited to join special guided tours of Alfies to gain insider knowledge from expert antique dealers. Also listen out for live music and enjoy afternoon tea in the newly opened Roof Top Kitchen.

Special guided tours will run throughout the day at scheduled times. A guide will lead you around the labyrinthine building and introduce you to expert dealers along the way. Learn about how Melamine revolutionised home ware in the 1950s, vintage luggage and travel, colonial furniture from the 1930s, and much more. Pick up insider tips on buying and collecting and see special pieces from the dealers’ collections. Each tour will consist of no more than 6 people, so book your place early to avoid disappointment.

Alfies Summer Jubilee is a wonderful chance to explore the market in a different way, learn about the antiques trade and celebrate London during this landmark year. RSVP to receive the full details and to book your place.
