An urban beach with a twist, the largest ever UK poetry festival and the chance to work with and learn from the world’s leading artists – this festival has it all.

This summer Southbank Centre will be transformed into an international learning site that shows how art transforms lives.

There will be many opportunities to get stuck in and take part, plus art, music, comedy, markets and free events to enjoy.

Join us to celebrate disabled and deaf artists, the culture of Wales, plus poetry from across the globe. The Hayward Gallery is transformed into a temporary summer school, and we’re very excited to welcome back Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra from Venezuela as part of Shell Classic International.
