NOMAD PRESENTS sets out to showcase the best musical talent in London, as the first night in the series you’ll see an exciting mix of jazz, afrobeat and contemporary music headlined by the ever incredible United Vibrations.

Opening the night is KALAKUTA, an extraordinary 12 piece afrobeat band. Kalakuta play original tracks by African Legend Fela Kuti led by one of Fela's original guitarists, Emeka Elendu. Kuti took Emeka out of Africa to tour around the world at the very early age of 19, after the death of Fela Kuti Emeka still keeps his music alive with Kalakuta, definitely not a band to miss.

Main Support comes from hosts NOMAD SOUL COLLECTIVE, recently reformed from popular Nomad Soul, lately gained a lot of attention through vimeo.com in which they wrote a piece of music for a short film called Murmuration directed by Sophie Windsor Clive. After going through a competition on the website the video went viral, currently standing at 8.6 million views, and as a result the video got coverage on many shows in other countries such as ‘NBC Today’ and ‘ABC Good Morning America’. As their first show as the collective, Nomad Soul Collective will be an exciting watch.

And finally, headliners the hugely coveted UNITED VIBRATIONS are an eclectic blend of afrobeat, jazz and reggae, describing their music as 12 Tone. Unique sounds of horns and tribal vocals leave the audience with an overwhelming sense of excitement that keeps you hanging on every beat

"Massively in demand as a live band for a long time now, and with their long awaited debut album, ‘Galaxies Not Ghettos’, causing reviewers to fall over each other to eagerly sing their praise, United Vibrations’ afro-beat-in-a-punk-style musicianship and poetry-come-philosophy lyrics seem to strike a chord with people from all walks of life, regardless of backgrounds.
It is the commentaries presented in the band’s lyrics, the incredible insight of the word-craft, which you’ll find rolling around your head for weeks to come."
