Free composition and music-making weekend at English National Opera

On 16 and 17 June 2012, ENO will play host to a music-making weekend of mini-operatic proportions!

Bring an instrument, bring your voice and take part in writing a new piece of music to tie in with the music round of the MINI OPERAS competition (4 June – 23 July).*

Here’s what to expect:

•A free participatory experience for aspiring composers, musicians and singers

•An inspiring guide to the possibilities of composition offered by the Mini Operas competition

•An opportunity to work with ENO staff and composers from a range of backgrounds to make an original piece of music

•Food for thought on composition and techniques from established composers, musicians and animateurs

•A fabulous, fun way to spend the weekend - no matter what your level of experience!
