CONNAUGHT VILLAGE GETS READY FOR THIS YEAR’S SPECTACULAR SUMMER FESTIVAL
Connaught Village, Hyde Park’s retail quarter, will be transformed into a traditional village fete on Wednesday 20 June including market stalls, live music, a dog show, a children’s art competition and craft workshops, flower arranging and an abundance of street entertainment and colourful decorations as part of this year’s Summer Festival.

The annual event, which will run from 2.30pm- 8.00pm, will be bigger and better than ever with Connaught Street, Porchester Place and Kendal Street all closed to traffic for a day of fun–filled summer activity. The Village will be host to fantastic entertainment for the whole family to enjoy, from bespoke Blue Badge tours of the area, to traditional Victorian fete stalls.

Connaught Village’s fabulous businesses will be opening their doors. Casa Malevo, Connaught Village’s premium Argentine restaurant will be hosting an open grill, Iranian restaurant Pardis will be preparing delicious rice and sauces, Bombay Palace will be serving sumptuous Indian food in a marquee on Connaught Street, Italian restaurant Stuzzico will be serving traditional gelato, and the latest addition to Connaught Village, Le Pain Quotidien, will be barbequing chorizo in the street- delicious!
