Phoenicia is a replica 600BC Phoenician trading ship that is now in St Katharine Docks, London, and open as an exhibition. Phoenicia was built of traditional Phoenician materials and unique ship construction methods, in 2008, and has since circumnavigated Africa (has Herodotus tells us the Phoenicians did in 600BC) which took the crew two years to achieve.

This summer, the crew sailed Phoenicia to London where she is now open as The Phoenicians: The Greatest Ancient Sailors Exhibition until the end of September this year.

The exhibition will offer the chance to view rare and ancient artefacts, understand the unique Phoenician ship construction and why this made them the greatest ancient sailors. Children are intived to learn about modern day pirates, view film clips of the expedition and take part in Phoenicia's quiz.

To experience the life of a Phoenician sailor and the challenges of sailing a vessel designed in 600BC - visit Phoenicia! It's a fun, educational, inspiring trip for all the family.

The Phoenicians Exhibition is open daily from 10am-6pm and can be found moored alongside Starbucks. You can tell it's Phoenicia by her single purple and white striped sail!

If you'd like to book tickets or get more information, please use the Phoenicia website, email [email protected] or call Lauren on 08458698441.
