Went to Turnmills this weekend after a VERY negative experience at The Cross.
The bouncers were cool and very nice, when we were waiting one moved us up the queue as i was soaked from the rain!
It was £15 entry and £4 a bottle, so very pricey but it was such an amazing night. Definately recommend this place, lots of places to chill out til 7:30 and two different rooms to dance to different styles!
Will recommend this club to anyone!

first things first, in response to susie r of the 03 aug 2005, dunno bout you love but turnmills has 1 of the best atmospheres and door staff u could ask for. my mate twisted her ankle and 1 of the bouncers picked her up and made sure she was secure and well treated, looked for her boyfreind through the crowd and let him know what had happened, i been raving their for years and will continue. yes you are stamped when you go in, and don't know why he wasn't allowed back, they have a no attitude policy. i've had runins myself with 1 in particular bouncer, that didn't spoil my night, just shrugged it off and thought, he's trying to impress, first night on the job i suppose.go gain u'll lo

The bouncers are aggressive & unprofessional. We’d just arrived, the ATM wasn't working so my boyfriend went to find one outside. Upon return they refused to let him in without paying again, even though he'd just paid & had the stamp to prove it! He’d only walked out a few mins ago but they claimed they'd never seen him before - isn't it their job to be aware of the people going in & out of the club? Wasn't busy so if they can't keep track of people on a quiet night how are they skilled enough to do the job? My boyfriend asked to speak to the manager but no one would help him, wouldn't listen to him, called him names & got very aggressive. Avoid this place, there’s better quality out
