The Swan

Absolutely love the Swan - always plays good music, there are never those 'very very drunk' types in there and if they do make an appearance, are swiftly removed.

Queueing at the bar can get tedious on Saturdays, but where doesn't it? I don't understand why it opens so early - as it's never busy until midnight, but staying open until six or so then makes it worthwhile.

Drinks don't seem to be overly expensive - love the couches dotted around, and the fact that you can talk up near the cloakroom without being deafened - or down by the front bar.

So accessible from tube station. Definitely worth a visit.

we got there at 10:30 pm, place was still empty, we've been told that we can get free meal:chicken and chips or sausage with chips. My sausage was cold so i asked to get it warmed in return i heard "that's the way we serve in here and u didn't pay for this food... this is not as restaurant" blond Polish girl said .

staff was very rude and unhelpful. it was my best friend birthday and we thought that we can have fun in there as every time we were in that place.
girl called Kasia-duty manager should be trained in customer service.
that was the worst experience in my life in London pubs enviroment.
will never go there again and will try to get refound for the money i've payd for entrance that night.

The food was terrible, the decor horrible and the clientele dodgy to say the least, but we still had a really good night!! They do loads of tribute band evenings which are always really funny. We went to the ABBA one so you can't help but get into it and dance along!
