Combining all the elements that make a great venue, Alchemist will boast superb cocktails, sophisticated music and excellent food in a stunning Rococo interior. With a 2.30am licence on Fridays and Saturdays and a great location minutes from Clapham Junction and Northcote Road, Alchemist is sure to quickly become a favourite with the Clapham cognoscenti. Formerly the Common Room, the building has been completely redesigned to create a funky, contemporary space. A huge landscaped garden at the back allows fabulous summertime al fresco drinking and dining for a continental vibe. |

Brand new bar where Common Rooms used to be and my new local. Alchemist is very different to Common Rooms - its definitely more upmarket. Still this is no bad thing as its a nice, chilled place with a great garden and seating outside that gives the place a continental vibe.
