The Troubadour is an authentic 1950s coffee house, established in 1954. In the 1960s and 1970s it played host to musicians such as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. It now combines a cafe with a live music venue, delicatessen and first floor gallery. The Troubadour Cafe serves a range of British and international cuisine, alongside coffee and snacks. There is a garden for al fresco dining.

This is a place where women come to talk intensely to each other about their relationship problems. There are also some self-conscious "arty" teenagers hanging around. If this is not your scene, avoid.
