Was recommended The Gateway as a decent place for food, decent is an understatement, five of us went along and the five of us were delighted with our meals. Great atmosphere and good beer. We'll be back.

This bar is the best thing that's ever happened to Wandsworth Common. The staff are incredibly friendly and always up for a chat. And unlike other places that change barworkers constantly, Bruce and Steve (the owners) are always there so you are welcomed back to a bar each time where everyone knows your name!
The food is fantastic and incredible value, as are the vast array of spirits. They include the delicious Budvar on tap amongst other beers, and stock an impressive selection of wines. They also sell the new fair trade Cola.
